About Upcoming Groups at the Cathedral Center for Wellness
Typically groups are offered in a once weekly, 8-9 week session. On occasion they might be offered in an intensive 3 day format. In order to provide a safe environment and preserve confidentiality and intimacy, group sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 participants. Over the course of the session we will work through the various segments of the material while providing ample time and space for sharing and reflection.
There is something beautiful and unique about what happens when you get a group of people together committed to living a life with more honesty and peace. The practice of supporting each other in this process is in itself restorative and dynamic. We realize that we are not alone. Recognizing our shared humanity gives us permission to be generous with ourselves thus creating the conditions for greater insight. When we can cast a light onto the things that hold us back from living the life we want they are less likely to play into our decisions. We can’t un-see the truth. Building this awareness takes time and commitment but ultimately allows us make choices based on our values and not our fears.
