Deanna Empey, RMT (AB)

Deanna Empey, owner and operator of Azure Massage, brings 16 years of experience to the team. Her background as a personal fitness trainer, nutritionist and yoga instructor makes her uniquely equipped to expand her treatments beyond the conventional approaches offered by today’s massage therapists. She is also trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Onsen Technique, Dorn Technique, Raindrop Therapy, and lymphatic drainage. With so many tools at her disposal, Deanna can find something that works for everyone.

Originally from Saskatchewan, Deanna spent several years in Banff, Alberta where she discovered a deep love of the mountains. Working for Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH) she was able to continue her work as a massage therapist while enjoying the exquisite mountain landscape.

Azure Massage was conceived after Deanna was offered an opportunity to work in downtown Invermere. After 8 years in Invermere, Deanna made the commitment to leave behind her successful “Body Angles” at CMH and work year round at Azure Massage. After a few different locations the new independent Azure Massage and Wellness is now located at 1-755, 13th Street in downtown Invermere.

Deanna says it best, “The human body is complex. Each one is individual. My desire is to help educate people about their bodies, to guide people as to how to help themselves feel their absolute best!”
